Life is Good with MassSTAR!
The MassSTAR Alumni Association participated at the Life is good Festival held this summer on the Boston Common. The alumni volunteered on two different teams. One team was the Green Team. This team was in charge of educating the public about recycling at the festival and the environment. Two other teams were in charge of handling the balloons for the festival. Balloons were definitely in high demand all day long! An interesting fact was that the balloons were actually latex free and were made out of sap! All in all the day was hot, but the alumni association had a great time volunteering for Project Joy and the Life is good Foundation! To check out pictures from the event, please click here.

Blankets for Warmth: MassSTAR Alumni Association Blanket Drive
Keep someone warm this winter! The MassSTAR Alumni Association is currently collecting new and gently used blankets for homeless shelters around Massachusetts. Inspired by October's keynote speaker, Patrice Keegan, Executive Director of Boston Cares, alumni are working with their schools to collect 500 blankets.
